[Ignis took his career very seriously. He had spent years studying and practicing cooking that he felt it would be beneath his level if he let his own restaurant fail in any aspect. It was his dream to open it and once he did, he was determined to never let it go.
Regardless of how much Inspector Fleuret wants to see him fail.
He is not entirely sure why; before opening his place, Ignis has never met the guy. Of course, he heard about him from other places, but he's never seen the man face to face or interacted with him. Until the opening day of "The Arch". He had expected Ravus to come and check the kitchen, pantry, processing section, dining area, and bar. Ignis made sure it was immaculate, to say the least. And he kept it that way. Always.
Especially on busy days. With Holidays rolling in, Ignis always make sure to have additional part-time workers at hand. Mostly to lend a hand to sous and pastry chefs and make sure that all the dishes are collected and washed.
He was just in the process of cleaning and packaging steak when one of the part-timers almost trips on himself as he rushes in the kitchen, all frantic and pale. Prompto wasn't as clumsy as he looked, but seeing Ravus walk through the door made him panic.]
Wonderful... [Ignis mutters under the breath and orders Prompto to go in the back and just clean the dishes. He can hear his sous chef Aranea swearing in the back and trying to calm Prompto down. Ignis washes his hands and takes off the apron, fixing the restaurant's black uniform with golden designs around the collar and golden buttons, letting the other chef take over so he can greet Ravus as the owner of the restaurant.]
[Ravus walks into the restaurant the way he walks into any building- like he owns the place.]
Go fetch the owner. [He orders the terrified busboy. No point in wasting time with the cogs in the machine. He's here for one reason- Ignis.
In spite of the stress his visits must cause, the results- a 100% rating for cleanliness- end up benefiting the establishment. Even if it is an abuse of his power, Ravus can't feel too bad about it.
He waits for Ignis to appear with the anticipation of a shark circling a school of fish.]
I trust you won't mind if I take a look around your premises.
